You are building wallets, agents, marketplaces, on-chain commerce, or AI commerce surfaces. The rails work. What is missing is structured, current, owner-controlled business context for those rails to route through. The Open Commerce Graph is the business map your stack needs, and Known Businesses are the nodes that make it usable.
- Integrate with readable businesses. Treat each Known Business as a node with structured identity, understanding, proof, consistency, and commerce context — not a scraped row in a directory.
- Route payments and actions with confidence. Use IdentityRecord business records as the counterparty layer your wallet, agent, or marketplace expects when it is about to move value or execute a portable action.
- Ship integrations that respect owner control.Every record is owned by the business operator. Builder integrations consume context; they do not edit it behind the owner's back.

Known Business Check as a managed service line
You run digital marketing, local SEO, or AI visibility services for SMBs. Known Business is a recurring service line you can manage across clients: run the diagnostic, fix Identity, Understanding, Proof, and Consistency gaps, and show monthly progress that beats vague AI visibility narratives.
- Productize the diagnostic. Use the Known Business Check to score each client across the four readiness bands and produce a structured report customers understand.
- Manage clients in IdentityRecord.Maintain each client's business record and AI Page inside IdentityRecord; agency consent is captured at submission time per PRD rules.
- Report progress, not promises. Identity, Understanding, Proof, and Consistency are concrete things to move. Show clients real deltas instead of claiming guaranteed AI outcomes — RWC Guide explicitly does not allow that framing.

The agency pilot is a structured 30-day engagement where a partner agency runs the Known Business Check across 5 to 10 client records, fixes Identity, Understanding, Proof, and Consistency gaps, and reports outcomes back inside IdentityRecord. The pilot is offered to a small number of agencies who are committed to operationalizing Known Business as a repeatable service line.
- Scope. 5 to 10 client records run through the Known Business Check within a 30-day window.
- What you do. Submit each client, review the readiness output, action the gaps inside IdentityRecord, and capture before/after deltas.
- What we do. Provide diagnostic access, a structured reporting view inside IdentityRecord, and a single point of contact for the duration of the pilot.
