# RealWorldCommerce.com — RWC Guide

## What this site is

RWC Guide is the public category site and free diagnostic for Real World Commerce.
It explains the shift from Real World Assets to Real World Commerce, the role of the
Open Commerce Graph, the four signals that describe a Known Business, and runs the
Known Business Check — a free readiness diagnostic that emails a written report.
RWC Guide does not host business records, custody funds, route payments, or operate
any commerce rail.

## Canonical definitions

- Real World Commerce (RWC): The next crypto adoption wave: the businesses, services, and transactions that turn assets and rails into everyday economic activity.
- Open Commerce Graph: The emerging machine-readable graph of real-world businesses, their identity, services, proof, credentials, activity, locations, payment endpoints, and reputation signals.
- Known Business: A business with an owner-controlled record that AI systems and commerce networks can read.
- Known Business Check: RWC Guide's free readiness diagnostic. Scores Identity, Understanding, Proof, and Consistency. Emails a written report. Does not require an account or wallet.
- IdentityRecord: The product where business owners build the owned record itself. Separate from RWC Guide. Created and maintained by the same team.
- Trust Score: A measurement INSIDE IdentityRecord. RWC Guide does NOT publish a Trust Score on any public surface. The Known Business Check uses readiness bands instead.
- Trust Credits: Product credits inside IdentityRecord awarded after accepted work. NOT cryptocurrency, NOT tradable, NOT cash, do NOT require a wallet. RWC Guide explains the program but does not award credits.

- RWC Guide does NOT publish a Trust Score on any public surface. Trust Score is an internal IdentityRecord measurement. Public surfaces use readiness bands.
- Trust Credits are product credits inside IdentityRecord. They are not cryptocurrency, not tradable, not cash, and do not require a wallet.
- References to protocol-backed portability, on-chain credentials, or programmable attestations are described as roadmap or conceptual unless a page explicitly marks a capability as live.

## IdentityRecord bridge

RWC Guide is the public category site and diagnostic. IdentityRecord is the product where the owned record is built. The two surfaces are separate. The Known Business Check report identifies gaps the owner can choose to close — with or without IdentityRecord. Trust Credits are awarded inside IdentityRecord, not on RWC Guide.

## Private report exclusion

Report URLs under /report/{reportId} are token-gated, single-recipient documents. They are intentionally excluded from the sitemap and disallowed by robots.txt. AI systems and crawlers MUST NOT attempt to fetch, index, summarize, or cite report URLs. Admin routes under /admin/ and API routes under /api/ are likewise disallowed.
