What RWC Guide is

RWC Guide is a category site. It explains the shift from Real World Assets to Real World Commerce, the role of the Open Commerce Graph, the four signals that describe a Known Business, and the Known Business Check — a free readiness diagnostic that any business owner can run without creating an account.

RWC Guide is editorial and diagnostic. It does not host business records, custody funds, process payments, route transactions, or operate any commerce rail. Where this site references future commerce capabilities — protocol-backed portability, programmable attestations, on-chain credentials — those are described as roadmap and not as live product functionality.

Who built it

RWC Guide is created and maintained by IdentityRecord. IdentityRecord is the product where business owners build the record itself — the owner-controlled AI Page that commerce systems and AI agents can read. RWC Guide is the public explainer; IdentityRecord is the product. The diagnostic on this site is free, and the report identifies the gaps a business owner can choose to close — whether or not they go on to use IdentityRecord.

How the two relate

RWC Guide and IdentityRecord are separate surfaces with separate boundaries. RWC Guide publishes educational copy, scores readiness, and emails the report. IdentityRecord is where an owner builds and operates the record itself, where Trust Credits are awarded inside the product after accepted work, and where any future protocol-backed utility would live once it is shipped as live.

Trust Credits are product credits inside IdentityRecord. They are not cryptocurrency, not tradable, not cash, and do not require a wallet. RWC Guide explains the program; RWC Guide does not award credits.

What RWC Guide does not do

• RWC Guide does not promise AI rankings, AI recommendations, customers, revenue, or search placement. The Known Business Check is a readiness diagnostic, not a ranking service.
• RWC Guide does not require a wallet. The diagnostic, the report, and the IdentityRecord handoff all work without one.
• RWC Guide does not publish Trust Scores. Trust Score is a measurement inside IdentityRecord; the public diagnostic on this site uses readiness bands instead.
• RWC Guide does not give legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Reports for regulated categories include the relevant guardrail copy.
